Flames of War Hobby Time!
Now that my Chaos Battlefleet Gothic fleet is finished and ready for the campaign, it's now on to Flames of War! :)
Last night I finished building a battery of four StuG III D assault guns. My plan is to immediately start painting them tonight, using the airbrush and everything I've learned from Soo Jinn and Nick. Up to this point, I haven't had much luck painting 15mm scale tanks to a standard I'm happy with. I hope that's about to change tonight!
After those it's on to the bulk of my fallschirmjager company with the command section, two full infantry platoons, and a light gun section. That will give me my first 1000 points, which will allow me to play games in the upcoming Market Garden campaign we're running at Legio. It'll also form the foundation of a full 1750 force that I'd like to get finished in time for SPORE. If progress goes well, and I can work out the logistics, the current plan is to play in the Flames of War tournament this year at SPORE. We'll see...

Yep, that's the list. I'm guessing those StuGs are going to have a hard time of it, but they look COOL! :)
ReplyDeleteCool, we're going to have more or less historically accurate forces for the campaign ... looking forward to see the stuff
ReplyDeleteAgree with Nick on the StuG Ds. But that's the best part about playing a historically correct force.
ReplyDeleteHave fun guys. Make sure you take lots of photos.
