Soviet ISU-152 Detachment DONE

I decided to ditch the Tank Rider infantry and go all tank for my force, primarily because these ISU-152's are the only thing I'll have that can have a go at German big cats. This might be a mistake- we'll see with some playtesting early next month. In the meantime, I'm one unit of T-34's away from finishing my army- huzzah!

T-70s Done!

Soviet T-70 Company Progress

Tonight I primed and basecoated 10 T-70 tanks for our upcoming Flames of War campaign. I also got the decals done for the turrets. With any luck, I'll finish this company tomorrow.

DUST Allied Blackhawk Light Assault Walker COMPLETE

One of my hobby goals for this year is to get into a new miniatures game. After much gnashing of teeth trying to decide, I've made my mind up and am giving Dust: Tactics (and Dust: Warfare when it arrives) a try. Tonight I detailed up the Blackhawk walker that came with the core set- mostly just some black pin washes for detail and a bit of weathering. For those who don't know, DUST Allied miniatures all come undercoated with a US green color, along with some basic unit markings- damn handy as a start. The only thing I had to repaint was the PIAT launcher pods, at least based on the paint job featured on the unit card.

Next week I'll start playing games, and I'll be working on my Soviet army for next month's Bagration campaign. For now, DUST is a nice change of pace that I'm looking forward to getting into more...
