Upcoming Army Project: Iron Warriors
Now that I've recently finished (for the time being) my new Beastmen army, my thoughts have already turned to the next army building event Legio Malaysia has planned. This time it's 40K, and painting for the event starts in early May with the first throwdown happening during the Birthday Bash at the end of the month. I'm fairly certain I'll be doing Iron Warriors for this one, and here's the first test model.
Comments and criticisms are most welcome. I'm going for a classic look with the minimum amount of effort needed to achieve that. Have a look and tell me what you think! :)

I like it! what paint did you use for the gold? The dirt on the wheels is a nice touch to
ReplyDeleteThanks! That is Vallejo 'Old Gold', with a wash of Seraphim Sepia. That's it
DeleteLooks good, though I think the model is not complete without that black-yellow stripe on the marines himself. Say he get off the bike and went into a bar, no one can tell he is Iron Warriors or some random renegades.
ReplyDeleteI'm also planning something for the coming throwdown. How many points isit?
Nice job! I'm real excited about your Iron Warriors army! It's going to be sweet AND hard-hitting too
ReplyDeleteYeah, me too! Need that Astra Militum codex to get released so I can confirm point costs and how the detachments are going to work. I really hope they don't get rid of the ability to have 3 Basilisks in one Heavy Support slot!
DeleteLooks really nice. This army will look awesome when it's finished! What's the next model you'll be painting?
